Our mission is as follows:
To ensure that people affected by MND can secure the care and support they need;
To promote research into causes and treatments.
In other words, we want to transform the care and treatment people with MND receive.
Letter of Support
Motor Neurone Disease is a disease of the nervous system. It attacks the nerve cells that send messages from the brain to the muscles. As these motor neurones gradually die, the muscles stop working. MND is always fatal. The MND Association receives no Government funding so we rely heavily on the generosity of individuals to enable us to continue with our vital work.
