Mission Statement
Our mission is to make a positive difference to the lives of carers. We do this in partnership with the Network of Princess Royal Trust Carers Centres, statutory and voluntary organisations and by acting independently in the interest of carers throughout the UK.
About the Princess Royal Trust for Carers
The Princess Royal Trust for Carers was formed in 1991 on the initiative of Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal in recognition of the contribution made by carers and their need for support.
The Trust is the largest provider of comprehensive services to carers across the UK. Through its unique network of 144 independently managed carers’ centres, 85 young carers’ projects and interactive websites, we currently support around 354,000 carers, including 20,000 young carers.
How you can help
The Princess Royal Trust for Carers relies entirely on the generosity of individual donations to help us continue our work.
Without donations thousands of carers face a life of isolation that can be mentally, physically and financially draining. Your support can free carers from having to cope alone, to give them the practical, financial and emotional support that will make their lives just that little bit easier
